(b. 1982, İstanbul) After graduating from university, Coşgun studied fashion at La Salle College. In 2004, she moved to Sydney, Australia, and studied design at Tafe College. In 2009, she settled in Italy and founded her own brand, Hazerico. She won the “Just Proud of -Best Designer” award in 2011 and, exhibited in France, Japan, Spain, and Italy, and featured at Cool Hunter in 2012, the patterns in her collection formed the basis of her glass creations using similar geometric forms, colors, and reflection effects. Returning to Türkiye in 2014, Hazer Coşgun took weaving training and adapted this technique to the fusion glass method. The artist, who established her own glass workshop in Istanbul in 2021, expanded her creative scope through her mastery of various techniques. Combining fusion and glassblowing techniques, she created the “Luvi” and “Bir-Bilinç” series.
