Born in Karaman in 1992, Uğur Bişirici graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting in 2014, and from Marmara University Fine Arts Institute Painting Department Master’s program in 2018. Working in the fields of painting, sculpture and installation, the artist questions humans’ relationship with nature and invites viewers to different perspectives. The artist, who wants his works to create emotions in the audience and communicate with them without depending on written texts, aims to have a thought-provoking, questioning and entertaining effect on the audience.

Bişirici creates a connection between reality and imagination by painting trees on mirrors using the UV printing method in his works. Bişirici brings together different branches of art and materials and offers a visual, auditory, tactile and mental experience. The artist, who creates changing effects in different light conditions in order to ensure that his works are dynamic and interactive, continues his life and work in Istanbul.
