EArt Gallery is hosting “Habitat,” the second solo exhibition of Dutch artist Eelco Hilgersom at its new gallery space, Akaretler No:47.

Hilgersom, who seeks contrasts in shape, color, and material in all his works, summarizes his manifesto as “To touch the viewers through the contrasts and complexity of the work and to draw them into this world I have created.” Using different techniques and materials in his works, the artist draws inspiration from many organisms created by nature. In the organisms, which are depicted abstractly by mixing different structures and colors, each shape and color reflects a different emotion. Eelco Hilgersom’s “Habitat” exhibition on view at EArt Gallery Akaretler No:47 until Sunday, May 10th.
