Mehmet Öğüt’s Proficiency in Art Research at No: 47

In line with its approach supporting research-based artistic productions, EArt brings to the audience the practice-based work developed by Mehmet Öğüt within the scope of his proficiency in art research. Focusing on production processes, the exhibition makes visible the different stages of the research developed around the concepts of technical object, associated milieu, and transduction, drawing from Gilbert Simondon’s theory of technical individuation. Progressing through burning, digital intervention, and repetitive production cycles, the process investigates how thought takes shape under material and technical conditions, rather than presenting a completed artwork. Highlighting the methodology and conceptual development of the research, this exhibition stands as a reflection of the gallery’s emphasis on productions emerging at the intersection of academic research and artistic practice in contemporary art.
Located on the 3rd floor of the gallery space at Akaretler No: 47, the exhibition can be visited until August 15.
