EArt Gallery is hosting a comprehensive exhibition from December 4, 2025 to January 18, 2026, based on the analytical framework of Pataphysics, a philosophy Alfred Jarry introduced to the literature as the “science of imaginary solutions.” The exhibition, which reinterprets contemporary art practices within this philosophical framework that stretches norms and centers the exceptional, focuses on “Personal Utopias.” Curated by Dilara Güven, the selection explores the imaginary geographies and promising refuges created in the minds of the artists, from a Pataphysical perspective, focusing on alternative realities and escape routes.

The exhibition’s concept, which makes visible the absurdity of ordinary reality, positions artistic production not as a passive defense mechanism against the increasing crises and pressures of today’s world, but rather as an active construction process in which new scenarios and possibilities are tested. In this context, the “Possibility of Exceptions” exhibition transforms into spaces of expression and intellectual laboratories that provide a temporary escape from the restrictive aspects of reality. Featuring works by Burcu Perçin, Cem Öztürk, Ceren Su Çelik, Dilara Altınkepçe Arslan, Kübra Su Yıldırım, Mehmet Öğüt, Mehmet Sinan Yücel, Pınar Kurt, Tuba Geçgel, and Tuğçe Arıöz, the exhibition invites the viewer to witness these alternative acts of construction that aim at the integration and shared imagination of the artists.

This encounter at EArt Gallery, in an atmosphere where established norms are stretched and exceptions become the rule, offers the viewer a chance for intellectual respite, thus re-examining the boundaries of utopia. The exhibition can be seen at EArt Gallery Kağıthane until January 18, 2026.
