Eelco Hilgersom

Seeking contrasts in shape, color, or material across all his works, Eelco Hilgersom's artistic understanding draws inspiration from numerous organisms created by nature. Grounded in the unique ability of organisms to convey messages through the color, structure, and attributes of their skin, the artist creates a new species using organic forms, colors, and reflective surfaces. Abstractly depicting mixed structures and colors, each form and color in the artist's work reflects a distinct emotion, while the curved shapes he employs make color transitions even more pronounced.

(b. 1979, Amsterdam) Following his graphic design education at university, Eelco Hilgersom achieved international recognition in 2020 by winning the "2020 Shanghai Edition Global Art Awards" with his work titled "Third Eye". Bringing together various textures and layers to encourage viewers to closely explore his works, the artist's creations are featured in numerous international exhibitions and private collections worldwide. Making a significant impact with his collaboration with Tiffany & Co. in 2023, the artist lives and works in Amsterdam.
